Ljubiša Krgović, President of the Council of the Central Bank, was born in Mojkovac in 1957. After completing his elementary and secondary education in Berane, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro in 1980. In 1990, he obtained a Master’s in International Economics from Belgrade University.
Mr Krgović, who speaks English and German, has completed a number of specializations at home and abroad and has participated in or independently carried out many scientific, professional and investment projects at the Institute for Social and Economic Research. He is married with four children.
Ljubiša Krgović was appointed President of the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro by the Parliament of the Republic on 15 March 2001.
